Labrador Retriever and Black Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Check out this hunky southern boy! Whiskey is just under a year old and weighs about 90 pounds. He is house trained and crate trained. Whiskey sleeps in a crate at night but does not need to be crated when left home alone, as long as the house has been thoroughly dog proofed!

Whiskey is leash trained and loves all people and dogs he meets. Being a Labrador, he is a big goofball and because he is a BIG goofball, he has the potential to knock over smaller kids.

Whiskey is good with dogs and even good with cats!! He loves car rides and will be your shadow for any adventure. He can be a little fearful of new things but overcomes it very quickly. Whiskey loves toys and loves to eat. His foster has been using a slow feeder bowl so maybe, just maybe, he might actually ENJOY some of his food.

Whiskey is a quick learner and responds well with treat training. He loves to play with toys, go for walks and play with his doggie friends.

Whiskey had entropion of both eyes (a common condition where the eyelids roll inward and cause eye irritation). When he was neutered, Whiskey had a minor surgical procedure to repair the problem. His sutures have now come out and he is doing great. His eyelids might always have a small amount of drooping, but he is not bothered by it and is back to loving life!

Whiskey is looking for a family who will take him for walks and adventures and show him all the love!
