PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION

DIXIE IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.

Dixie was rescued from a known dumping area near a boat ramp in Oklahoma where unwanted puppies are often left. She and her siblings were found at just around 8 weeks old and are now safe in foster care, getting the chance they deserve at a better life.

Dixie is a friendly, cuddly puppy with a slightly cautious side as she adjusts to new things. She enjoys playtime, naps, and snuggling up with her people. She is currently working on potty training and crate training and is making progress each day as she settles into a routine. Dixie is also learning leash skills and building confidence as she continues to explore the world around her. She’s a sweet girl who will thrive with a patient, loving family to help guide her as she grows.

Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce her to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to her development!

Dixie will be adopted under a spay contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of spay. She is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.

If you’re interested in giving Dixie her forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!
