DESCRIPTION
GUNNER
Gunner (and his brother Ranger) were picked up as strays at just 13 weeks old and taken to OKC animal welfare where he was tagged by Oklahoma Pet Collective Society with a foster commitment.
They had no training and were fearful and skittish of anything and everything. They cowered together in their kennel seeking comfort from each other.
Since coming into foster, Gunner has made great strides in learning how to...
Walk on a leash
Trust humans and gain confidence and learn to trust
He is now crate trained, and progressing with potty training in the home.
He knows “sit“, and is learning other basic commands.
We are working on MANNERS, given that he is a puppy and has never had to abide by rules.
He is a wiggly, tail-wagging, fun loving pup who has just recently realized what it feels like to have someone touch him with love, care, and compassion. He LOVES to be loved on and just melts into you as long as you are petting and scratching him. He will even roll over on his back to offer his tummy up for scratches. He is wicked smart, picks up on new commands quickly, and he is great motivated!
