Meet Barney!

Barney is a sweet and sensitive 10 month old Labradoodle mix weighing about 45 pounds. He’s basically full grown and just waiting for a family to call his own.

This very, very sweet boy came from a breeding kennel where he had limited space and exposure, so the world is still a new place to him. He can be a little nervous at first, but he warms up quickly and really starts to shine once he feels safe and comfortable.

Barney is wonderful with other dogs — big and small — and truly thrives around them. He gains confidence from his canine friends and loves to play. He’s affectionate, gentle, and still very much a puppy at heart.

He’s currently working on his leash skills and general home manners, as he’s still learning the ropes of life in a home. The good news? He’s very smart and very food motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for him!

Barney is doing great with crate training and is reliable about going to the bathroom outside. He enjoys being outdoors, exploring, and soaking up new experiences.

With a patient, loving family willing to continue building his confidence and guiding him, Barney is going to grow into an incredible, loyal companion.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption.
