Sweet, Goofy, Energetic, Loves Humans and Playful Dog Friends

Good with dogs? Bobby has met and gotten along with a variety of dogs in his foster home. He was shy during initial meetings, but he’s gained confidence. He now playfully and excitedly greets new friends. He takes a minute to realize he needs to leave dogs alone if they don’t want to play, but with a confident dog friend or two, he’ll continue to learn from their behavioral cues. His play style is delicate, bouncy and zoomy, and with some friends, he enjoys a pawsy full contact play style as well.

Good with cats? Not Tested in foster care, but reportedly he coexisted with a cat in a short-term home and was non-reactive.

Good with kids? Not Tested in foster care, but reportedly he has gotten along with kids.

Energy level: Medium to High. As he gains confidence, he’s becoming more playful and energetic and less happy about downtime! He enjoys regular, short breaks to go outside, and play sessions throughout the day. He’s intrigued by squeaky and chew toys and is learning to love tug and fetch toys.

Animal Characteristics: Bobby is a shy, sweet pup who takes a minute to approach new people, but if you’re patient and loving he will grow to love you! With a little time in a cozy, consistent home, he’ll show you what a sweet, loving boy he really is. He is busy learning about commands, potty training, and riding in a car. Outside of play, he does not bark much, but he whimpers and barks at first when put in his crate or separated from his humans, then relaxes after a few minutes. Bobby is friendly and prefers to be near his trusted humans and would love a peaceful or playful companion dog. He will benefit from consistent socialization and training so that he can relax and blossom in his safe, cozy forever home!
