Meet Murphy — the sweetest little boy you’ll ever meet!

Murphy is pure love wrapped up in a puppy body. He adores being held and petted and will happily follow you from room to room just to stay close. His favorite place is wherever his people are — he truly just wants to be part of the family.

He enjoys playing with his siblings and confidently keeps up with the larger dogs in his foster home. Murphy is always up for a good game of tug-of-war with anyone willing to play, even if he doesn’t win — he’s just happy to be included! When playtime winds down, you’ll find him curled up on the couch, cuddled next to the family while watching TV.

Murphy and his siblings came to us after being found by our local animal control officer during an ice storm here in Texas. We know their mama is a Labradoodle, but dad is a mystery. What isn’t a mystery is how much love Murphy has to give.

We are dedicated to finding Murphy the safe, loving forever home he so deeply deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a cuddle buddy, and a best friend, Murphy may be the perfect match.

Important transport notes:
• We cannot do meet-and-greets. The trip is long and demanding, and it would not be safe or fair for a dog or puppy to travel north and then return to Texas.
• No deposits are accepted.
• All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up.

Medical & Spay/Neuter Information:
Most puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round.

Puppies under 6–8 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy’s first birthday, at the adopter’s expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.

About Our Rescue
Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Adoption proceeds go directly toward:
• Spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana
• Medical care for rescued puppies and dogs
• Emergency veterinary assistance for families in need when possible

All dogs remain in Texas foster homes until adopted.
