Meet Lailah!

Hello people of Colorful Colorado! My name is Lailah and I am a 27-lb Alaskan Klee Kai mix with bright blue eyes and a personality to match!

I was found in the middle of a highway in San Antonio, TX when I was 6–7 weeks pregnant; my rescue is a former adopter of 2BABR and so she knew who to call to get me and my pups to safety! WHEW!

In a few short weeks, I am a brand new mom of six precious souls, in a brand new state and am now looking for a forever family. So basically, life has been a lot new (and sometimes a little scary), but I am learning new things every single day and so excited to finally feel loved and safe!

I'm doing a great job with leash training, car rides, and crate training (once you convince me it's crate time ). I'm fully potty trained and haven't had any accidents in the house!

I'm a total Velcro girl who loves being close to my people—cuddling, leaning into you, and soaking up belly rubs. When I see my humans, I get so excited I spin in happy circles and “smile” until I get my good-girl pats. I am preparing (as my puppies wean) to find a patient and loving forever home that will continue supporting me on my quest to embrace my brand new life!

A little more about me:



Kids: I've done well with older kids (8+!years old) who pet me gently. I haven't (yet) been around younger children and can still be a little startled by loud noises.


Cats: No exposure.


Dogs: I walk nicely alongside my foster brother; I am a WONDERFUL mama and am starting to meet new doggy friends now that I have had my babies!


Adults: I am very affectionate, but initially more easily intimidated by men until I get to know them. I am an overall submissive gal and haven't shown any signs ounce of aggression any human.
