DESCRIPTION

Meet Stardust, the sweetest, most gentle and calm little lady in LA!
Stardust is a 2 year old jindo mix who came to LA all the way from South Korea. She’s about 35 pounds of pure sweetness - the perfect mid-size gal! Starry is a quiet and shy couch potato and loves to lounge around with her human. Stardust has such a gentle and kind demeanor, we know that once she meets her new PAWrents she will open her heart to them and give them so much love. Stardust had a rough past - she was rescued as a puppy (with her brother Ziggy) from the illegal meat trades in South Korea. She then spent over a year in the Korean shelter, before taking her freedom flight to LA. Because she’s been through so much, Stardust is a very cautious and timid pup who would do best in a patient family who is committed to working through her fear so she can grow into the confident dog we know she can be! In the home she's relaxed and chill, and she is working hard on building confidence outside. She does great with other dogs and cats, too! Stardust has the biggest heart and will make the PAWfect addition to her new family. Plus, she is lucky enough to be fostered with one of our trusted professional trainers, so she has excellent manners! And whoever adopts Stardust will get FREE training support fur life! Apply to adopt Stardust today!

**We have adopted many dogs to out-of-area, state, and even international homes! We usually require that the approved applicants come to meet their new dog in Los Angeles and transport them home. Most of our out of area families make a fun road trip of it!

ABOUT: JINDO DOG BREED

The Jindo, a Korean native breed renowned for its loyalty, courage, and intelligence, is highly prized for its unwavering loyalty to its family. This medium sized, spitz type dog has a distinctive double coat that sheds seasonally. Known for their independent nature, Jindos require early socialization and firm, consistent training. With a strong prey drive and territorial instincts, they excel as hunters and watchdogs. Their deep bonds with their owners make them loving companions, albeit not suitable for inexperienced owners.
