Jack Russell Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Cartina’s story started in a way no dog deserves—found tied up outside of a grocery store in Newark and left behind. But despite that, she has nothing but love to give.

We named her Cartina because “Cart” (in honor of where she was found) felt a little too manly for this tiny girl.

She’s about 2 years old, 15 lbs, and we’re guessing a Jack Russell mix. Cartina is the SWEETEST little lap dog—full of life and energy, but just as happy to curl up and cuddle with her people.

She’s great with other dogs and has done well with cats. She’s working on house and crate training and is a smart girl who’s catching on quickly.

Cartina is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines.
