• About 7 months old, currently 20 lbs. and will grow to be approximately 30-45 pounds
• Walks beautifully on leash
• Working on house-training
• Crate-trained
• Learning to sit politely for treats and meals

Ava is a sweet, gentle soul who is steadily growing stronger and more confident each day. She’s slowly putting on weight, gaining stability on her feet, and showing great progress as she continues to thrive in foster care.

Ava is on the quieter, calmer side—especially compared to her sister—and can be timid with new people at first. Once she feels safe, her soft personality shines. She’s earned the nickname “Angel puppy” thanks to the constant, innocent smile she wears when she looks at you.

She enjoys playtime but also knows how to relax, happily slapping paws during play and then settling in for long naps. Ava is a true couch potato who loves lounging with her people, soaking up gentle rubs, and watching TV.

Ava is working on potty training and is doing well overall, though she’s still had a few accidents—especially during rainy weather when she’s hesitant to go outside. She eats quickly and currently benefits from monitored, separate feedings to ensure everyone gets their fair share. She’s improving every day with routine and patience.

At night, Ava is happiest sleeping near her people or alongside her sister. Sudden noises can startle her, and she may bark until reassured—she and her sister are excellent at comforting each other.
