Abby is a classic Potcake — loyal, people-centered, easygoing, and full of heart. Abby is still in the puppy phase, is eager to please and ready to learn. She will thrive with a stable routine, daily activity, and lifelong commitment from a forever family.

Abby's Highlights:
• Mixed-breed potcake from Saint Lucia
• About 7 months old, currently 20 lbs. and will grow to be approximately 30-45 pounds
• Walks beautifully on leash
• Working on house-training
• Crate-trained
• Learning to sit politely for treats and meals
• Loves men, women, and children
• Great with other dogs
• Respectful around cats
• Social, affectionate, and friendly with everyone she meets


From Abby's Foster Mom: During the day, Abby is all about playtime. She loves running both inside and outside, pouncing, slapping paws, and wrestling with her canine friends—especially Stitch, who often finds himself in playful headlocks before Abby proudly sits on him like she’s won the match. 😄 She is very food-motivated, which will be a huge plus for continued training.

Abby would do best with an adopter who understands smart, driven, determined dogs and is ready to provide structure, consistency, and ongoing training. She’s currently learning basic commands like sit and lay down, and while her brain moves a mile a minute, she’s eager and capable with the right guidance.

She’s doing wonderfully with house training—no accidents inside and reliably goes potty when let out. At night, this energetic girl transforms into a total cuddle bug, happy to settle in close once her busy day is done.

Abby is confident on her own and does not rely on her sister to feel secure. She can be a bit jealous with affection and will sometimes use her size to push her way in for attention—something her future family should be prepared to continue working on with patience and training.

Abby would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, plenty of outdoor time, and including their dog as part of daily life. Abby is looking for a family or individual ready to commit to the next 15 years of giving them the stability and love she so deserves.
