Meet Wally, or should we say... Sir Walter?!

Although he’s still a young 2.5 month old puppy, Wally is already quite the distinguished gentleman… at times. The rest of the time, he’s a wonderful, goofy, growing boy full of all the puppy things you’d expect.

Someone was threatening to dump this little guy, and at just 8 lbs, he obviously wouldn’t have survived on his own. In just over a week in our care, he’s gained over 4 lbs and is still growing like a weed. Signs point to him possibly being an Irish Wolfhound — what do you think? One thing we do know is that he’s going to be a big boy. He’s currently in a foster home with a 40 lb dog, and Wally eats 3–4 times what his foster brother eats!

Wally loves toys, playtime, and cuddles. He’s smart, trainable, and full of puppy shenanigans like all puppies his age. He’s used to a crate if you want to continue crate training, and he’s been using puppy pads like a champ. He’s at the perfect age for you to continue training and raise him just the way you like. He's good with other dogs, cats, and will be fine with kids who can handle an active playful puppy.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $500 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix. Both are guesses based on physical characteristics and any known history.

**Note: Wally will be neutered mid-April and ready to travel to his forever home after he heals from surgery.
