In addition to being super cute, Wolfie loves everyone, is great with all dogs, is affectionate and playful, and has already learned to sit beautifully. He takes treats politely. This youngster even seems to have had some work under his belt with 'stay'.

Wolfgang is great fun to play ball with, as well. He brings the ball back (unless he has a 'Squirrel!!' moment; but hey, he's not even a year old, yet) and drops it helpfully, ready for another go. He's a pretty good boy on leash, checking in frequently with his handler. Occasionally he needs to be reminded that it's not time for a game of puppy tug. He loves to be petted, soaking up attention from his many fans at the shelter.

While in need of a good grooming to get that hairdo looking sharp, Wolfgang is a practically perfect dog in every other way—with one exception. He's a bit of a mouthy puppy. For that reason, we are recommending a home with older children only. He needs consistent reminding that he's growing up, now, and it's time to leave that mouthy puppy stuff in his rearview.

Irish Wolfoodles, as these mixes are often called, may feature some of the Poodle breed's low-shed and hypoallergenic traits, but it depends on the dog's specific genetic parentage. We aren't able to speak to Wolfgang's exact grooming needs, as we've only just met him. His new family should be prepared for regular brushing and coat care, potentially including professional grooming, to ensure this sweet boy's good health.

Wolfgang has excellent potential for developing into a delightful family dog. He loves to please and will thrive in a home with lots of attention and appropriate training as he matures. Our last Doodle was adopted very quickly, so get on in here quick to meet Wolfgang if you're interested in adding him to your pack!

Wolfgang will need to be neutered before he can go home with you.

Though we can't make guarantees, He does appear to be housetrained.

We do not have info on his attitude toward cats at this time.
