Meet Dante

Dante is a 7-month-old Irish Terrier mix who is just beginning to learn what it means to be part of a family. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, his love for human connection really starts to shine.

Before coming to Aloha Ilio Rescue, Dante spent most of his time tied outside to a doghouse with very little human interaction. Because of that, he's still learning the basics but don't let that fool you. This boy is smart, eager to learn, and incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a great bonding experience for him.

Dante is currently learning how to walk on a leash and is making great progress. He can be a bit vocal at times, but with consistency, patience, and guidance, that's something that will continue to improve. What he truly needs is someone willing to invest time into helping him build confidence and trust.
