Opal - Husky and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Tampa, Florida

Hi, I'm Opal - a 1-year-old white Husky mix with a heart as big as my personality! I'm spayed, friendly, and gentle, making me a wonderful addition to any active family. I'm great with dogs and kids, though cats aren't my thing, so I'd do best in a home without them. At 39 pounds, I'm the perfect medium-sized companion ready to bring joy and adventure to your life. My adoption fee is $130 - come meet me and let's start our journey together!

The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
