Husky Dogs Available for Adoption

Yara was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list at BARC Animal Shelter and has been showing her gentle, loving nature ever since. She is a devoted, calm dog who raised six puppies with patience and care.
Yara loves being close to her people and will happily follow her foster around the house. She is mostly potty trained, knows “sit,” and is eager to please. She has a sweet, steady temperament and is very kid-friendly, making her a wonderful family companion. Belly rubs are her favorite, and she soaks up affection with quiet gratitude.
Now that she’s finished raising her puppies, Yara is ready for a loving home of her own where she can relax, be cared for, and be part of the family.

The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive.
