Willy is a 5-year-old Husky who was born with just one eye but it doesn’t slow him down even a little. He came to our rescue after his owner unexpectedly passed away, and now he’s safe in a foster home while we work on finding him the right forever family.
Willy is a super fun dog with a big personality. He’s active, social, and friendly with everyone he meets. He loves people, loves other dogs, and he’s the kind of dog who keeps you laughing because he’s always doing something goofy. He’s also a typical husky in the best (and most husky) ways… yes, he talks.
He is housebroken and crate trained, and he has completed Mind Your Manners training courses at Cold Nose Companions. He knows his basics, but could use a little brush up on his manners just because he gets excited and forgets sometimes.
Willy will need a securely fenced yard. Huskies are known for being escape artists and Willy is no exception, so a solid fence is a must.
Willy’s adoption fee is $350.
He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and has had normal bloodwork. He has tested positive for Lyme the last few years, but he is asymptomatic and it does not affect him. He is on monthly preventative.
