Peaches is a beautiful and courageous girl with a remarkable story. She gave birth to a litter of 9 in a small den tucked away in a vineyard. When field workers discovered the puppies at about five weeks old, they were healthy, happy, and clearly well cared for. We may never know how this devoted mama managed to raise her babies so well under such challenging circumstances, but it’s clear she is an exceptional mother who now deserves a loving home of her own. Peaches is about 4 years old and weighs close to 40 pounds. She is friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs. Her ideal home would be with an active family—she absolutely loves her walks—and with someone who has experience with Huskies. Peaches is well-mannered, walks beautifully on a leash, and rides nicely in the car. She is scheduled to be spayed soon, but we are accepting applications for her forever home now. Peaches is currently vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed.
