Husky Dogs Available for Adoption

We’re honored to be working alongside Karen Perl, who has worked tirelessly to save dogs in need. While these dogs are not directly in our rescue care, we are courtesy posting on her behalf to help them find the loving homes they deserve.

Yapple is 4-5 yo neutered red male husky who was left at the shelter no fault of his own. He was on the euthanasia list due to space not behavior.

This sweet guy stands tall and always has a very serious face but he is nothing but a big baby and total love bug. He is very friendly to people at my office and rarely talks unless you are late for dinner! He is dog friendly to all males and females big, medium, and small dogs. He has not been cat tested.

He weighs between 55-65lbs and is crate trained and potty trained. He is up to date on all his shots and is heartworm negative. He loves to run around his yard but has never tried to escape his yard. He would need a yard to run around in preferably a fenced yard as he is not off leash trained. He knows his commands and walks well on a leash. He is treat motivated but not food aggressive. He rides well in the car without anxiety.

He could be an only dog as long as he is included in the family or he could have a doggie buddy or two in his forever home. His ideal home would be a couple, single person, or family with children as long as he is a beloved member of the family. Husky experience or at minimum large dog experience preferable! This sweet guy is more on the mellow side for being a husky and is in need of his forever home!!!

On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same. Thank you so much for your valuable support in helping these dogs find loving homes.
