Meet Roo, a Cheerful, Affectionate, and goofy young pup who is ready to bring laughter, love, and tail wags into his forever home!

Roo is 10 months old (DOB: 05/16/2025). He currently weighs 45.6 lbs and is growing into a handsome, athletic boy. His mom was a scruffy mixed breed, and Roo appears to have taken after his dad, who we believe was a Basenji or Husky mix—giving him a unique look and expressive personality.

Roo is wonderful with other dogs and lives peacefully with an older canine companion. He’s respectful, submissive, and does a great job reading cues, making him an excellent fit for a multi-dog household. He’s also fantastic with people and loves being part of everyday family life. He is great with children age 10 and up!

This smart pup already knows sit, stay, touch, and even understands “go to your bed” and “crate.” He’s very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. Roo truly wants to please his people and enjoys learning new things—especially when treats are involved!

Roo walks nicely on a leash, does great in a harness, and would thrive in an active family that enjoys daily walks, trips to the dog park, or doggie daycare. He also knows how to relax and enjoys winding down with a frozen Kong, a cozy bed, or simply hanging out with his humans.
