Husky Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet River (50537), a 10 month old male Husky! Ranger is an active, inquisitive boy who can be a bit of a counter surfer if you let him. Like a typical husky, River is high energy and vocal, so he cannot go home to an apartment. River previously lived in a home with older children and his brother Ranger (50538), who he came into the shelter with. The two brothers get along well, but do not need to go to the same home.

Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive.
