Meet Butterscotch: A sweet little cutie pie looking for his forever home! 💛
Butterscotch was the tiniest of his litter after his mom, arrived at the rescue pregnant. With bottle‑feeding, round‑the‑clock care, and a lot of grit, he pulled through—and now proudly weighs in at 6.3 lbs.
He’s a Husky–Shepherd mix with soft grey, brown, and cream fur and bright eyes that seem to light up any room. Despite being the featherweight of the group, he’s confident, playful, and tougher than he looks. He keeps up with his bigger siblings, stands his ground, and celebrates life with the enthusiasm of a puppy who knows he beat the odds.
Butterscotch loves cuddling in blankets, tumbling into dog piles, and dozing off in his food bowl. He carries around his “I love you” bone, looks surprisingly good in a cowboy hat, and is always ready for an adventure.
He’s up to date on his vaccines and will receive his rabies shot soon. With his strong spirit and easygoing personality, he’ll transition beautifully into a new family. Whoever adopts him will gain a joyful, resilient companion who brings laughter, comfort, and a whole lot of heart.

✨ Come meet Butterscotch — one look at that smile, and you’ll understand. ✨
Adopter will receive rebate of $100 once he is neutered between 6-12 months of age. Butterscotch will be microchipped & is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. He would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
