You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Flint arrived from the city pound on Jan. 26th. His legal stray hold was finished and no one had claimed him. He appears to be an approximately 3 year old husky/shepherd mix. There could be some Australian shepherd or collie in there, too. He is very loving and personable. He is already neutered and we will get him fully vet checked, vaccinated, and chipped in February. His fee is $150.
Flint is an active dog who will require regular exercise. He is pretty well mannered and seems to have had a little training but more training is always a plus. He is bright and eager to please. Because he is so new to us, we're still getting to know him and don't yet know how he is with other dogs. We think he would be okay with older kids. We have no way of knowing about cats.
NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.
We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
