RUDY

Husky, Mixed Breed
🇨🇦
Winnipeg, Manitoba
March 28th
male, large, young

DESCRIPTION

Rudy is approximately 5 month old and weighs about 30 lbs
Rudy is great with other dogs and kids but hasn't been around cats yet.

He is not 100% housetrained yet but getting there!
Rudy is a very special boy.
He came into rescue with his mom and siblings but he wasn't eating very good and was by far the smallest one.
At one week old he was taken to a foster, where he would be bottle fed for the next 7 weeks.
In that time we learned Rudy has a medical condition called Megaesophagus.
This is a condition where the esophagus loses muscle tone, dilates, and fails to move food into the stomach. Sometimes, he will regurgitate his food.
His food will need to be blended to make it easy for him to digest.
This condition does not slow him down and he is still a playful lovable little guy.
He currently lives with 2 dogs and loves playing with kids.
Rudy is a great dog that will make fantastic companion.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
