River is shy and skittish at first due to his past. Je seems to respond to men better then women. He also seems to feel it's his job to be on patrol, so you might see him patrolling the perimeter of the house or yard, and would make an excellent watch dog! He enjoys playing with other dogs once he opens up and would do best in a home with other dogs. He is an outdoors dog, make sure your fence is high, he likes to jump.
