Mama Dough came to us as a stray with her nine light-colored puppies, which is how the “bread litter” got its name. Nearly all of her babies have now been adopted, and it is finally her turn to find a forever home of her own. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented. Mama Dough is super social and loves being out and about, happily soaking in attention wherever she goes. She has adjusted beautifully to life as an indoor dog and clearly enjoys the comfort and companionship that comes with it.
She walks well on a leash and absolutely loves her neighborhood walks. While she has come a long way, she will still need continued training, structure, and a securely fenced yard, as she can be curious about exploring beyond boundaries. She sleeps great in her crate at night and is continuing to build confidence with daytime crating. Mama Dough would thrive in a loving home that offers patience, consistency, and plenty of inclusion, where she can be both an active companion and a devoted, affectionate best friend.
