DESCRIPTION
Soleil (A141237) is a 1-year-old husky mix who weighed over 40 lbs at intake! 02/20/26 This sweet girl is Soleil, affectionately known as LeiLei (pronounced lay-lay)! Soleil was surrendered to the shelter because she was constantly escaping her fenced-in backyard and running the neighborhood. Soleil is an energetic young pup who will need to be kept on a secure tie out or supervised when outside. She is a happy and outgoing girl who can be rough when playing but loves to play with everyone she meets, including children, strangers, other dogs and even cats! Soleil was said to be housebroken and kennel trained, and she was said to ride well in the car. She has been known to dig and can be vocal at times. Providing her with plenty of stimulating enrichment and appropriate chew toys can help with these behaviors. She may need some help with her manners, as she has been known to jump on people. Enrolling her in a basic obedience class with a certified trainer would be a great way to fine tune her manners, build a stronger bond, and direct her energy into something productive! If you are interested in meeting Miss LeiLei, please give the shelter a call!
