She loves sleeping close to her human and has peacefully slept in bed with both her current foster and her former owners.

Ideal Home

Rooney needs a low-traffic home with no young children. Older, dog-savvy children may be appropriate as long as they understand her boundaries and the home environment remains quiet. She protects her home and people making her a great guard dog.

She can be nervous around new people—especially men—and will need a patient adopter who can give her time and space to warm up. Slow, gentle introductions work best for her.
