DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Colden — your future best friend is waiting!
Pup Colden and his two brothers, Pup North and Pup Glacier, were rescued from a very full shelter in Lexington, NC, and are now ready to start their next chapter: finding loving forever homes. Could Colden's journey lead him straight to you?
Colden is a hound mix (best guess) who is 100% adorable and just as sweet as he looks. He does wonderfully with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion — or plenty of opportunities to make new friends. He's already neutered and ready to settle right into family life.
With so many recent changes, Colden can be a little shy at first, but give him a moment and you'll see his warm, loving personality shine through. Once he feels safe, he's eager for affection and connection. At this prime age for training and socialization, Colden is the perfect pup to grow with your family and learn all the good-dog basics.
If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion who will reward your patience with endless loyalty, Colden may just be the dog you've been dreaming of.
Apply today and let Pup Colden bring the kind of love, joy, and tail-wagging happiness that only a dog can bring!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
