Hound Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet our confident friendly girl, Janae. She is eager to make friends and sniff out new adventures to explore. She arrived with her sister and mother. They lived in an active home with children before arriving at the shelter. It seems they were used to having outdoor fun as youngsters. However, a more secure future and safekeeping was needed. Janae is approaching a year in age. We estimate her to be about 10th months old and her size is 47 lbs. She is sharp looking and very outgoing. Leash training is new to her so, that is our next step for these new arrivals.

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $200 Cats $90. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)

Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to prevent accidental escape of pets.

The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Appointments are recommended. Saturday hours normally 10 - noon or by appt.

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory!
