Hound Dogs Available for Adoption

Young Celia arrived with her sister and mother after a family was unable to provide a secure area to safely contain the dogs. Celia is pictured with her family members. She is an outgoing girl eager to learn new things.

She is close to a year in age and her size is 32 lbs. She is a pretty and cheerful girl. She loves getting attention and having outdoor adventures. Her previous home had young children and Celia is pretty happy-go-lucky.

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $200 Cats $100. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)

Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to prevent accidental escape of pets.

The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Appointments are recommended. Saturday hours normally 10 - noon or by appt.

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory!

We are 45 minutes east of Lexington, Ky.
