Meet Anaya: Anaya is a 2 year old (as of February 2026) hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 38 pounds. Anaya has a sad past and we are committed to finding her a fantastic future. Anaya was found pregnant as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter where she had 10 puppies. As soon as the pups were 6 weeks they took them from Anaya and started adopting them out. Anaya was immediately put on the Euthanization list and given 3 days to be adopted. Our rescue pulled her the night before she was to be put down and we are so thankful we made it in time for this sweetheart! Anaya is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Anaya is the sweetest girl; so loving, laid back, no barking. Anaya loves everyone she meets. She can be a little shy at first but warms up within minutes. Anaya gets along well with other dogs, cats and people. Anaya loves being close to her people and pet friends and is not hyper or overly active. Anaya sleeps in bed with her foster mom, two other dogs and a cat. Anaya loves to snuggle with the cat. Anaya walks well on the leash and is also crate trained and house trained. We would love for Anaya to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can play freely. Anaya is up to date on her shots and is spayed. We cannot say enough about how wonderful this girl is.
