Everest is the most cuddly of the bunch and the least independent. He's done the best of the three with our older dogs, really understanding boundaries and their signals of when enough is enough. He LOVES his human cuddles, particularly when there is a heated blanket involved. His hair is shorter than his siblings and I've noticed he gets the shivers pretty quickly when he goes outside, so he has been a lot less interested in venturing out into the snow. He is the smallest of the three we have, and sometimes avoids play because he gets ganged up on, but when it's one-on-one, he's very rambunctious and loves wrestling. He also loves cuddling with his siblings and foster siblings alike. Although he gets his zoomies and bursts of excitement, he is the most mellow of the group.

The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt.
