Hound and Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Rex is a young, happy-go-lucky pup who is hoping to transition directly into a loving home.

At just 6 months old, Rex is friendly, playful, and full of puppy enthusiasm. He loves running around outside, chasing toys, and engaging with the world around him. Toys are a favorite pastime, and he’s always ready for playtime. Rex does well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship.

Rex already knows how to sit and is eager to learn more. Like many puppies his age, he is still working on his manners. He can be mouthy and may nibble when excited, and he is also learning not to jump. Because of this, Rex would do best in a home without children while he continues his training and matures.

Rex is not currently at the shelter. His owners are no longer able to care for him, and we are working to help him move directly from his current situation into a new home so he does not have to enter the shelter. He is currently living outdoors and urgently needs a safe, indoor home where he can receive consistent care, structure, and attention.

Rex is a hound and pit bull mix, and adopters should be prepared for an active, intelligent young dog who will thrive with regular exercise and positive reinforcement training. With patience and commitment, Rex has all the potential to grow into a wonderful companion. He’s looking for someone who can give him the stability and care every puppy deserves.
