At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved.

💜 Meet Leonard 💜 A tiny cuddlebug who lives for love and closeness. Leonard is a very small, delicate boy who absolutely melts for ear scratches and belly rubs and wants nothing more than to be tucked beside his person. He is happiest right by your side, curled in your lap, or snuggled up in bed, soaking in warmth and comfort. He came to us from the recent 62-dog home we assisted with, and it is clear he was loved, as he has done well with kids and other dogs. Leonard learned to use puppy pads in his previous home and is now being introduced to a dog door in foster care, and his deeply affectionate, shadow-like devotion makes him the perfect tiny companion for someone wanting a constant snuggle partner.

Leonard’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, neuter, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt Leonard.

We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
