I'm a 2.5 year old Havanese mix with a gentle heart and a soft personality. I'm well behaved and play very gently with my human. I enjoy going for walks, car rides, or sitting outside feeling the breeze and basking in the sun with someone I trust. I also love to chill and will happily settle in and lounge with you. I enjoy playing with my toys and proudly carrying them around the house.

I'm affectionate, playful, and very loyal. I bond quickly and deeply, and once you're “my person,” I'll happily be your constant companion. I'm definitely a mama's boy and love being close to my human.

I'm at my best one on one and can be nervous and react to new people. I prefer slow introductions as I build my confidence. My foster mom is helping me with my social skills so I can greet others politely. She says I'm making progress, I just need consistency. When I notice other dogs, I want to interact, but I can bark or lunge if they get too close. With continued patience and guidance (and a few tasty treats to help me stay focused), I can learn to observe and interact calmly. I'm working on it and have the potential to keep learning and growing with your support!

I would do best in a calm, adult-only home with an understanding adopter who will let me warm up at my own pace and help me feel safe and secure. In return, I'll give you unwavering loyalty, affection, and lots of cuddles.
