Hank is a loyal companion and doesn't fuss about much. He is quite happy to lay on the floor by your feet all day, or on the couch, or in the kennel, he goes with the flow. He seems to have good leash manners but will pull towards home when he decides he's done with walking. He sleeps quietly in his kennel all night.
Hank will eat his meals very quickly so he's fed with a slow feeder bowl that will be included with his adoption. He is very food motivated and knows sit and shake hands.
He does like to play with a tug toy or tennis ball but mostly he spends his time sleeping and would love to cuddle on the couch with you!
Hank has recently been treated for heartworm and is doing great!
Hank is up to date on shots, microchipped, neutered, and he is already potty trained!!

ABOUT: GREATER SWISS MOUNTAIN DOG DOG BREED
The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, also known as the "Grosser Schweizer Sennenhund," is a large and powerful breed originating in Switzerland. These dogs are known for their gentle and friendly demeanor, making them wonderful family companions. They have a striking tricolor coat, with a predominantly black body, white markings, and rust accents. The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog is a versatile working breed historically used for herding, guarding, and pulling carts. Their loyalty, intelligence, and affectionate nature make them beloved pets for active families.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
