Meet Chicago!

Chicago - affectionately known as Houdini - is a female, Great Pyrenees, born November 2025. She has a soft, luxurious coat and an even softer heart. Funny, sweet, and calmly confident, she's the kind of dog who matches your energy: happy to lounge peacefully by your side, but always ready to play when you are. Smart and observant, with her gentle nature and easygoing personality. Chicago would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, loyal best friend.

She is working on her potty/crate training and doing great! She is so smart and has already picked up on “sit’ and walking on a leash. She hasn’t had any accidents in the house- you go girl! Her foster family says they are so impressed with how quickly she has picked things up! She loves play time so much and her favorite is a tennis ball- but she loves cuddles even more! What makes her even more of a love? She does great with kids, dogs, and cats!

Chicago is being fostered in Richmond, VA. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
