Meet Nola – Your Oversized Lap Dog in Disguise

If you've ever wished for a dog who doubles as a weighted blanket and a best friend, Nola is ready to make your dreams come true.

This beautiful gentle giant has been through more than her fair share—after spending months wandering the countryside and bringing puppies into the world, she's now finally getting the care she deserves. A little underweight but making steady progress, Nola is soaking up good meals, soft beds, and all the love she can get—and she is thriving.

Nola is the definition of sweet. She lives for attention, happily collecting hugs, pats, and cuddles like they're her full-time job. Her signature move? Gently placing her big ol' head right in your lap and looking up at you like you're the best thing that's ever happened. (Spoiler: to her, you are.)

Around the house, Nola is a total pro. No accidents here—this smart girl will even give you a polite bark when she needs to head outside. She's happiest lounging in the sunshine, taking in the fresh air, and embracing her well-earned “retirement” from survival mode.

She appears to do just fine with cats, and while she's mostly mellow, she does have one weakness... deer. Let's just say if there's wildlife involved, Nola suddenly remembers she has opinions.

Now that her days of wandering are behind her, Nola is ready for a soft landing—a home where she can continue to heal, be adored, and finally just be someone's dog.

If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a heart as big as her paws, Nola is ready to lean in (literally) and love you forever.
