I'm about a year old and already around 70 lbs, and I'll likely fill out to be a big boy-maybe 80-90 lbs full grown. I'm a Great Pyrenees mix, which means I've got that classic gentle giant energy... I love my flock, but I can wonder off too.

I was found in a poppy field in Southern California, and it took about two weeks for kind people to finally bring me to safety. Because of that, I'm still learning that the world isn't such a scary place-but I'm making progress every day.

Now here's the part that surprises everyone... once I'm comfortable with you, I am a total love bug. I don't just think I'm a lap dog-I fully commit. Yes, all 70+ pounds of me will happily climb right into your lap for cuddles.

I absolutely LOVE other dogs-big, small, doesn't matter. I'm incredibly gentle and respectful, even with tiny pups (I've made friends with a 5 lb puppy, no problem!). Having another confident dog in the home could really help me continue to come out of my shell.

I'm a very soft, sensitive boy, and I'll need a patient home that helps build my confidence. New things-like different floor textures-can be a little scary, and if I'm unsure, I might put on the brakes. I'm not trying to be difficult, I just need encouragement and time to feel safe. The good news? I'm very food motivated, which makes training and confidence-building much easier.
