DESCRIPTION

Hi. I’m Honeydrop. Yes, like honey. Sweet. Golden. Slightly addictive. Hard to live without once you’ve had a taste. I love to play. I love to bounce. I love to investigate. And when I’m done being a tiny woodland athlete, I transform into a cuddly little honey puff who just wants to be close to my humans. Balance. Overall, I am a happy, wiggly, sunshine-soaked little soul who thinks you are the center of the universe. A built-in cuddle buddy. A future loyal guardian of your couch. A fairy-tale level best friend who will grow up and still look at you like you invented happiness.

I am an 11-week-old, 17-pound bundle of future majestic greatness you didn’t know you needed. I’m Honeydrop from the Fairy Hollow crew — which means I am one of 14. FOURTEEN. Are we all from the same litter? No. Are we two litters about a week apart? Yes. Were we given a neatly labeled spreadsheet explaining who came from which mom? Also no. If a one-week age difference is going to send you into a tailspin, you may gently see yourself out. I promise I will not take it personally. I have toys to chase. Here’s what actually matters. I came into rescue because nature did what nature does and humans got overwhelmed. We were running in and out of the road like tiny, fluffy traffic hazards. Thankfully, some amazing volunteers stepped in, scooped us up, and now both moms are getting spayed thanks to PPFT — along with the three other adults on the property. So while I may be cute, the real glow-up here is responsible rescue work. We love a preventative queen moment. Now. Let’s talk about me. I am currently 17 pounds of happiness with paws. I am playful. I am affectionate. I am the kind of puppy that melts into you when you hug me. I give “instant serotonin” energy. Right now I have soft puppy fluff and baby eyes and that slightly clumsy “who put these legs on me?” coordination. But I will grow. I will lose the baby fluff. I will enter my awkward teenage era where my legs are too long, my ears don’t match, and I suddenly have opinions. And when that happens? I need you to still love me. We are not in this for the puppy aesthetic. We are in this for LIFE. Kay?

Oh. Other dogs? I love them. Deeply. Intensely. With my whole 17-pound body. I want to play. I want to bounce. I want to run in large, unnecessary circles like I’m training for the Puppy Olympics. I read social cues well, though — if a dog says, “Hey kid, take it down a notch,” I can adjust. But if they’re game? Buckle up. Would I love a playful dog sibling? Absolutely. Highly recommend. Five stars. Just know if you have a dog at home, I will assume they are my entertainment committee. And I will act accordingly. 🐾 No one has presented me with a cat yet to evaluate, interview, and determine whether we shall be allies, roommates, or polite acquaintances who ignore each other in shared spaces. Given that I am currently a happy, social, slightly bouncy 11-week-old Great Pyrenees mix, I would likely approach a cat the way I approach everything else in life: “HELLO. ARE YOU FRIEND? DO YOU RUN? SHOULD WE PLAY?” Children? Yes. I have met the smaller humans. Specifically, some older kids at the vet. You know — the slightly taller variety who understand the concept of “hold the puppy, do not drop the puppy.” And I did great. I was calm, sweet, and perfectly content being cuddled. Because, let’s be honest, being held and adored is one of my core strengths. Now — have I lived full-time with toddlers who move like unpredictable tornadoes and scream for sport? No. So if there are younger kids in the home, it will require supervision and teaching everyone (tiny humans included) how to respectfully interact with a growing Great Pyrenees mix who will not stay 17 pounds forever.

Energy level? We’re calling it a 7. Which means I wake up ready to participate in life. I enjoy running with my dog friends. I enjoy playing. I enjoy enthusiastically investigating absolutely everything. But I also believe in naps. Deep ones. The kind where I flop dramatically and recharge like a fluffy solar panel. So yes, I have pep. I have bounce. I have “let’s go do something!” energy. But I’m not feral. I’m not chaotic. I’m just a happy, growing Great Pyrenees mix puppy who needs activity, structure, and appropriate outlets so I can mature into the majestic, well-adjusted queen I’m clearly meant to be. Adventure-seeker or homebody? I enjoy adventuring. I will absolutely accompany you on walks, yard explorations, mildly dramatic backyard patrols, and any outing where I can sniff things and pretend I am very important. But let’s be clear — I am not trying to summit Everest before breakfast. I would love a nice adventure… followed by a soft landing spot where I can collapse like a satisfied marshmallow and recharge. If there is a shady patch of grass, a couch, or literally any horizontal surface available for napping, I will find it. Basically, I’m outdoorsy in the sense that I enjoy going outside… and then coming back inside. 🐾 Overall temperament? I am delightfully, unapologetically happy. I am sweet. I am social. I am affectionate. I bring the fun, but I also bring the calm when it’s time to settle. Super happy. Super playful. Super ready to be someone’s forever. 🐾

Ah yes. The “can she live in an apartment?” question. Technically? I am a baby. I could physically exist in many places. Realistically? I am a growing Great Pyrenees mix who very much enjoys space. I love being outside. I love space. I love having the freedom to unleash my very professional zoomies without someone saying, “Honey, stop dragging me down the sidewalk.” Could I technically live in an apartment with very committed humans who provide structured exercise, enrichment, leash walks, and mental stimulation? Sure. With effort. A lot of effort. On your part. But if we’re being honest? I would absolutely flourish in a home with a securely fenced yard where I can stretch these growing legs and romp around with my canine bestie. Ah yes. House manners. Let’s discuss what you humans lovingly call “training” and what I call “a collaborative growth experience.” I am a premium, build-your-own Great Pyrenees mix. Potty training? That will be your responsibility. I will absolutely try my best, but you will need to take me out consistently, praise me like I just solved world peace when I potty outside, and understand that my bladder is currently the size of a thimble. Puppy proofing? Also on you. If you leave shoes out, that is not a moral failure on my part. That is a strategic oversight on yours. Socialization? Very important. I need positive exposure to people, places, sounds, surfaces, car rides, vet visits, all of it — so I grow into the confident, stable, well-rounded majestic adult I’m clearly meant to become. Training? Yes please. Structure. Consistency. Clear expectations. I’m smart. I’m willing. I just need leadership that isn’t optional or “when we feel like it.” So if you’re ready to put in the work and not just admire the puppy fluff — congratulations. You might just be worthy of me. 🐾

And now… the part where I gently, sweetly, completely un-subtly tell you to adopt me. Listen. I am happy. I am social. I am affectionate. I love dogs. I love people. I love toys. I love sun naps. I am going to grow into a big, loyal, heart-melting, couch-claiming guardian who thinks you are the best thing that has ever happened to her. Now let’s discuss logistics, because love alone does not magically teleport me to your house. If you are serious — and not just “aww she’s cute” serious — you need to fill out the adoption application. Once you do that, it gets sent to my foster family for review. That’s how this works. We are organized woodland creatures. And should you be chosen, you will need to come pick me up in Claremore, OK. I do not ship. I do not DoorDash. I do not Uber.

So go ahead. Do the responsible adult thing. Submit the application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app Prove you’re in it for life — not just the puppy fluff phase.

I’ll be here in Claremore… growing, glowing, and waiting for my forever. 🐾✨
