Samuel is ready to find his forever family—apply now and don’t miss your chance to meet this sweet boy! Gentle, fun-loving, and quietly curious, Samuel is a Great Pyrenees puppy with a heart as soft as his fluffy coat. He came into rescue with his siblings after being found wandering and has been showing off his sweet personality ever since. He enjoys exploring the world at his own easygoing pace, taking everything in with thoughtful puppy charm. Samuel loves playtime and enjoys games like keep‑away with his siblings. He’ll happily jump in to join the big dogs during playtime and then settles nicely once the fun dies down. He enjoys snuggling with his people and would do well with respectful children and kitties who understand puppy manners. In between playing, Samuel is all about cozy time. He can be found curled up on a dog bed or tucked into a quiet, comfy spot for a well-earned nap. He is working on house training and continues to improve with routine and consistency. As a Great Pyrenees, Samuel will grow into a large, intelligent, independent dog who does best with patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. His ideal home will have parents familiar with the breed, a 5-foot securely fenced yard, and a playful, female canine big sister for play, companionship and to be his role model! If you think Samuel might be the right fit for your home, we’d love for you to apply and learn more about him.

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.
Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
