Meet Julian, an absolutely adorable Great Pyrenees puppy who's living his best life in foster care alongside 13 other dogs, some lucky cats, and the neighbor kids who can't get enough of him! This fluffy white cloud of puppy energy is exactly what you'd picture when you think "classic Pyr pup"—long, soft fur that begs to be snuggled and that quintessential look that'll stop people in their tracks. Julian's a curious little guy who approaches the world with two very important questions: "Can I eat this?" or "Can I play with this?" (Spoiler alert: his favorite answers involve bananas and apples!) He's mastering his house manners day by day and runs up to greet new people with the kind of enthusiasm that makes everyone feel like a celebrity. Whether he's bulldozing into his foster sisters for a good wrestling match, prancing around with his latest "high-value treasure" just to make them jealous enough to chase him, or splashing around in the creek, Julian keeps life entertaining. He's a 50/50 indoor-outdoor kind of guy who'd thrive in an active family home with a secure 5-foot fenced yard and a canine companion to continue teaching him the ropes and burning off all that glorious puppy energy. Julian's ready to bring double the joy to a home that already has dogs, and he's perfectly happy to share his kingdom with cats and kids too!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.
Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
