You may remember this sweet pup as Recycle-but as he hopes for a brand-new beginning, we decided he deserved a name that reflects his beautiful soul. Everyone, meet BEAU (which means "handsome," and yes he is)!
Beau arrived in rough shape with a female dog and puppies and is now, sadly, a long-stay resident. With so many cute puppies available, sweet adult dogs like Beau are overlooked time and again. People pass by his kennel, missing out on the absolute goldmine of a dog waiting inside. At 2+ years this gorgeous Lab mix has healed and is ready for someone to choose him-his second chance.

Perfect Manners: Walks great on leash and when walk is over, he steps right back into his kennel like a champ.
Dog-Friendly: Gentle nature, gets along great with other pups.
