“🐾 Beautiful 1-year-4-month-old female Great Pyrenees named Badger needs a forever home! 🐾
Sweet Badger was raised from 10 weeks old on a working sheep farm, where she’s been loved and well-socialized. She’s incredibly friendly with people of all ages and gets along great with other animals—she’s gentle, affectionate, and loves attention.
As a classic Great Pyrenees (independent, calm at home, but naturally protective), she has that majestic guardian instinct. She’s playful and energetic (typical for her age), and unfortunately played a bit too rough with one of the baby lambs, hurting it.
The farm family adores her but wants her in a home where her size, strength, and protective nature are the perfect fit—without vulnerable young livestock that could trigger her rough play or dominance during this adolescent phase.
She’s intact (not spayed yet), and as she matures over the next year or so, her calmer, more settled guardian side will fully emerge—many Pyrs really shine around 2+ years old.
Badger would thrive in:
• A rural or acreage home (fenced securely—she’s a thinker and explorer!)
• With experienced large-breed owners who understand LGD (livestock guardian dog) breeds
• Possibly with other dogs (she’s good with them), older kids, or as a family guardian
• Or even a working farm/home with mature stock where she can patrol and protect
She’s up-to-date on shots, healthy, and ready for her next chapter with a family who appreciates what makes Pyrs so special: loyal, gentle giants who protect their people and home with quiet strength.
