This big, beautiful girl is Artemis. She is looking for a new home where she can run and stretch those really long legs! Artemis came from a situation where she wasn't able to run, play or be a dog very much but she is loving the opportunity now. She has a fantastic personality and seems to think everyone is there to give her pets. She has shown that she can be dog selective and we really haven't been able to figure out exactly what she likes or doesn't like in a dog friend but we think she would be best with a large submissive male that has her same energy level, love of being outdoors and play style which is part chew and slobber on your friend and part let's play tag! She is a Great Pyrenees/husky mix and her photos really don't do justice to how gorgeous she really is. She is only just a year and will have a little more growing and filling out to do but she is already a big girl! There will be lots of shedding and she will need grooming/brushing on a regular basis to keep her undercoat combed out and her fur unmatted. Make sure you are prepared for all of that prior to considering bringing her into your home and family. She doesn't seem to care about the cats she has encountered and kids would be welcome (because they can provide more pets!) but she also is a bit clumsy so little kids that can't hold their own might get knocked down. She is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.00
