We bring to you Sir Arlo. He doesn't have one cell of Pit Bull DNA in him, but oh how he tries. He has got the energy, the stubbornness, and the lovable indignant “Who Me?” nature of our beloved pitties.

He is our big fluffy family man. He did grow up with human siblings and just before the age of three he became collateral damage of a bad break breakup.

Arlo is quite incredible and like many rescues a bit complicated. He's got tons of energy, he loves kids. He likes dogs that don't get in his face. He is so excited to see you. Did I mention he loves kids? Oh my God the last kids that came to visit he was just in heaven and so were they.

He's been with us in foster for almost a year and during that time we've discovered he has some extremely usual hangups. Arlo needs a drink or two before you can trim his nails, however, if he likes you, he will tolerate a good brushing. He's a golden retriever and great Pyrenees mix he sheds. He is not now or should he be considered to be a livestock dog as he just does not have a clue how.

He is 4 years old, fully vetted, fixed, house trained, and crate trained. We know the right family for Arlo is out there. He’s a couch potato conversion in the making.
