Meet Cora - The Creamy Dream Girl You Didn't Know You Needed

Listen up, friends - we've got a VERY special lady looking for her forever home, and she's worth every ounce of your attention.

Meet Miss Cora - a creamy, roughly 50 lb bundle of sweetness who came to us as an owner surrender with a backstory full of more plot holes than a daytime soap opera. We were told she'd never met a male dog. We were told a lot of things. Then, four days after arriving at our rescue... she gave birth to 8 adorable puppies. Surprise! Needless to say, we take her original story with a very large grain of salt.

But here's what we DO know for certain - because actions speak louder than mystery backstories:

The incredible Lindsey and Leila swooped in to foster this sweet mama and her babies, and we've heard absolutely nothing but glowing reports. Cora is potty trained, a phenomenal mama, and has one of the gentlest souls you'll ever encounter. She may be a little shy at first - she's been through a lot, and her heart has taken some bumps along the way - but once she warms up to you? Oh honey. She is ALL IN.

This girl wants to be by your side 24/7, no exceptions. Work from home? She's your coworker. Netflix binge? She's your blanket. Bathroom break? She'll be right outside the door. She is an absolute lover of children - especially the tiny, squishy baby kind. If you've got littles in the house, Cora will be their ride-or-die from day one.

Now, as with any good story, there are a couple of plot points to be aware of:

Food guarding - Cora likes her meals to be a solo event. She's not into sharing her dinner plate, so feeding her separately from other pets is a must. Totally manageable with a little routine!
Squirrel mode is REAL - She will absolutely try to drag you across the yard at warp speed if a squirrel dares to enter her line of vision. We're working on it. Consider it your daily cardio.

On the dog and cat front - she hasn't been officially tested yet since she isn't yet spayed, but she's spotted our dogs through the fence and was completely unbothered. We have a good feeling about this girl. She also has a past note about not loving goats - so maybe skip the farm life for this one.

Her babies will be weaned in just a couple of weeks, and when that day comes, this creamy queen will be ready to find her person.
