Meet Plum!
Plum is one of fourteen precious Great Pyrenees/Doberman mix puppies who entered a high-euthanasia shelter with their mama. When their mom developed mastitis, Plum and most of her siblings had to be bottle-fed — and this tiny girl has proven just how strong and resilient she is!
One of the smallest in the litter, Plum may be little, but her heart is huge. She is incredibly sweet and has the most tender, loving nature. She can be occasionally timid in new situations, but once she feels safe, she absolutely melts into you. Snuggles are her favorite thing — whether she’s cuddled up with her siblings in a puppy pile or tucked into her person’s arms.
Don’t let her petite size fool you — Plum also loves to play! She enjoys romping around with her siblings and joining in on puppy fun before settling down for a cozy nap.
Because she’s still young, Plum is at a wonderful age to grow and adapt in just about any home. With patience, love, and proper introductions, she should do beautifully with dogs, cats, kids, or as a cherished solo pup. Her slightly softer personality will thrive in a home that gives her reassurance and lots of affection.
Plum is 7 weeks old and ready to go to foster-to-adopt.
What does Foster-to-Adopt mean?
It means you bring Plum home as a foster while she finishes up any remaining vetting (such as vaccines or spay, if age-appropriate). Once her vetting is completed through our rescue, the adoption is finalized. It’s a great way to ensure a smooth transition while we complete her medical care!
If you’re looking for a gentle, snuggly little sweetheart with a brave spirit, Plum may be your perfect match.
