Meet Honeydew!
Honeydew is a 7-week-old Great Pyrenees/Doberman mix who is full of personality and charm. She is one of fourteen precious puppies who entered a high-euthanasia shelter with their mama. When their mom developed mastitis, Honeydew and most of her siblings had to be bottle-fed — and she has grown into a happy, thriving little girl.
Honeydew is active, playful, and full of joyful puppy energy. She loves to run, romp, and play with her siblings, and she’s always ready for the next adventure. Whether it’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or bouncing around with her littermates, Honeydew is all about fun.
But don’t let her playful side fool you — she’s also incredibly affectionate. Honeydew loves attention and happily soaks up pets, cuddles, and time with her people once she’s gotten her wiggles out.
Because she’s still so young, Honeydew is at the perfect age to grow and adapt beautifully in just about any home. With proper introductions and continued socialization, she should do well with dogs, cats, kids, or as a solo pup getting all the love.
Honeydew is 7 weeks old and is currently available for Foster-to-Adopt (FTA).
What does Foster-to-Adopt mean?
It means you bring Honeydew home as a foster while she finishes up any remaining vetting through our rescue (such as vaccines and spay when age-appropriate). Once her vetting is completed, the adoption is finalized. It’s a great way to ensure a smooth transition while we complete her medical care.
If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate puppy who will happily keep up with adventures and then snuggle up afterward, Honeydew might be your perfect match.
